Not able to login to AWS EC2 RHEL instance with new user id (other than ec2-user) and with password

Step 1: 

Need to edit  /etc/ssh/sshd_config and

Step 2: 

set PasswordAuthentication to yes.

Step 3: 

sudo /etc/init.d/sshd reload

sudo service /etc/init.d/sshd restart
